MD Pneumatic BLOWERS

MD Pneumatic Air Blowers
For more than 60 years, MD Pneumatics rotary air blowers have provided dependable service to a myriad of industries worldwide.

Acousticair
Low-noise Acousticair blowers are designed for pressure or vacuum applications. They are engineered with built-in silencing chambers to reduce overall noise energy by up to 20 dB(A), or over 90%. They are available in flows up to 1900 CFM (3230 m³/h) with pressures to 15 PSIG (1.03 bar g) or dry vacuums to 15" Hg (508 mbar g). Acousticair blowers are also interchangeable with certain Roots RCS-J sizes and PD Plus models.

Competitor Plus Competitor Plus blowers include special features usually found only on premium blowers -- and at competitive prices. They are interchangeable with Roots Universal RAI® and many Sutorbilt® California Legend™ models, and are compatible with most existing OEM dimensions. Competitor Plus blowers are rated up to 15 PSIG (1.03 bar g) discharge pressure or 16" Hg (540 mbar g) dry vacuum.

Dominator DOMINATOR is the next generation of rotary positive blowers. Designed with features found ordinarily on high-end blowers, DOMINATOR blowers are still designed to be interchangeable, with respect to foot print, shaft height and diameter, with equivalent sizes of blowers manufactured by others as well as Tuthill Pneumatics COMPETITOR PLUS™ blowers. Dominator blowers are rated up to 12 PSIG (0.83 bar g) discharge pressure or 16" Hg (540 mbar g) dry vacuum.

Equalizer Equalizer blowers also include special features usually found only on premium blowers, at competitive prices. They are are medium duty, compact blowers in popular 4.5 inch (115 mm) and 6" (150 mm) gear diameters, and are designed to be interchangeable with competitive brands such as Roots RCS and certain DuroFlow® models.

PD Plus PD Plus is the long established line of premium heavy duty models ranging from 3.25" (82.5 mm) to 12" (305 mm) and 2.5" (63.5 mm) to 48" (1220 mm) rotor length. These blowers are renowned for their quality, dependability and outstanding performance record.

MD Pneumatic Gas-tight Blowers
Acousticair Low-noise Acousticair blowers are designed for pressure or vacuum applications. They are engineered with built-in silencing chambers to reduce overall noise energy by up to 20 dB(A), or over 90%, which means that silencers can often be avoided in the process piping, reducing overall size of the equipment. Acousticair gas-tight blowers are available in flows up to 1900 CFM (3230 m³/h) with pressures to 15 PSIG (1.03 bar g) single stage, 40 PSIG (2.75 bar g) or dry vacuums to 15" Hg (508 mbar g). Seal configurations rated for up to 100 PSIG (6.9 bar g) discharge pressure are available.

PD Plus The process and utility gas-tight blower against which all other mechanically sealed blowers are compared. With flow ranges to 10,000 CFM (17,000 m³/h), single stage performance as high as 25 PSIG (1.72 bar g), or 50 PSIG (3.45 bar g) two-stage, PD Plus is as rugged a machine as is available. Every gas-tight PD Plus blower is tested for leak tightness (maximum allowable leakage rate of .0001 mL (1.0 E-04) per second on helium at 15 PSIG (1.03 bar g)
