New Kalrez® 7075 Takes High Performance Seals Even Higher Kalrez perfluoroelastomers from DuPont Dow Electronics provide high performance sealing in aggressive chemical and high heat environments. Kalrez 4079 has been the industry standard for demanding applications such as chemical processing. Now, DuPont Dow has introduced Kalrez Spectrum 7075, a perfluoroelastomer that improves on 4079 with much lower compression set, increased seal force retention, broader chemical resistance, and higher temperature stability. Seals made with 7075 material have a glossier finish than other Kalrez parts. This provides better performance in dynamic applications where low friction is needed.
